Vollmar Consulting is participating in an ad hoc group being sponsored by the Sacramento Field Office of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that is developing specific region-wide conservation strategies for vernal pools and associated rare species. Vollmar Consulting is preparing regional planning maps and providing biological information gathered through our years of experience in the region. We are providing specific guidance on identifying biological hotspots threatened by on-going agricultural land conversion and development, and improving funding capacity for establishing conservation easements.
